David, Chris and Will successfully completed this gruelling challenge. The Marathon des Sables is recognised as one of the toughest foot races in the world, where you have to complete the equivalent of six marathons in seven days across the Sahara Desert in temperatures up to 50 degrees celsius, carrying all of your own provisions. This year's edition of the event was the longest yet covering 254 kms. After completing the race, David summed up the challenge perfectly saying: "This was an unforgettable experience and nothing short of brutal. You just leave everything out there and it's a feeling like no other. When you are in the Sahara, you realise just how scarce and vital water is and that's why I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to support Running Well." Many congratulations to David, Chris and Will for their awesome achievement.
