The Yorkshire Challenge took place in the beautiful Nidderdale area on the south east edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The full 100km is a varied figure of eight style route which takes in the famous Nidderdale Valley, Ripley Castle and Gouthwaite Reservoir. Despite developing numerous blisters, two of our Trustees and a dozen or so supporters completed this tough 100km hike in just two days. The route is hilly with few flat sections and plenty of steep ascents to get the best views of the Dales.
